1. Overview
Horde Shift is a mobile game published by Arcline Studio. No account is required to play. Core gameplay progress is stored locally on the user's device.
2. Local gameplay data
The app stores local gameplay and progression information on your device, such as coins, mastery and progression, owned and equipped items, characters, completed stages, missions, bestiary progress, lifetime gameplay statistics, event progress, settings, and interstitial-ad cadence state. This data is used to preserve your gameplay experience and preferences.
Arcline Studio does not operate its own remote account or database service for this data in the current version, and does not automatically receive this local save data. You can erase in-game progress using the app's reset option, or by uninstalling or clearing app data, subject to Android backup and device behavior.
3. Advertising and third-party SDKs
The Android version of Horde Shift uses Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK to show interstitial ads, and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present privacy and consent choices.
Google states that the Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and share certain information, including your IP address, user product interactions, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers (such as the Android advertising ID, where available), for purposes such as advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Actual handling may vary based on your device settings, region, consent choices, SDK configuration, and Google services.
Arcline Studio does not sell personal data. Arcline Studio does not independently receive a user's advertising identifier merely because the SDK is present. Third-party data processing is governed by Google's own policies:
4. Consent and privacy choices
Where applicable, Horde Shift uses Google's UMP flow before eligible ad requests. In regions where UMP indicates that privacy options are required, the app provides an in-app way to revisit those choices from the Settings menu. Additional device-level ad controls may also be available through your Android or Google account settings.
5. Data not intentionally collected through Arcline Studio-operated systems
The current version of Horde Shift does not require or intentionally collect through Arcline Studio-operated systems: names, email addresses, phone numbers, precise location, contacts, photos or videos, payment-card information, health data, or user-created account credentials.
If you voluntarily email Arcline Studio for support, the information you include in that email is used to respond to your request and may be retained as reasonably necessary for support, record-keeping, and legal purposes.
6. Retention
Local gameplay data remains on your device until you reset it, clear app data, or uninstall the app, subject to Android backup and device behavior. Data collected by third-party SDKs is retained under the applicable provider's policies and settings. Support emails may be retained as reasonably necessary to resolve requests, maintain records, prevent abuse, or comply with legal obligations.
7. Security
Arcline Studio takes reasonable steps to minimize the amount of data it handles directly. Google states that Mobile Ads SDK data is encrypted in transit. No security measure is perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
Horde Shift is not directed to children under 13. Arcline Studio does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through its own systems. 9. International users and rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain privacy rights. Requests about data directly controlled by Arcline Studio can be sent to Arclinestudis101@gmail.com. For data controlled by Google, please use Google's privacy controls and request mechanisms.
10. Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated if the app, SDKs, or legal requirements change. When the policy is revised, the "Last updated" date will be updated accordingly.
